Right-click chordymatch-dist.zip and select "Extract All". A folder with the files will be created.
Right-click install.bat and select "Run as Administrator". The script installs the certificate and the app automatically.
Windows SmartScreen may show a warning. This is normal — click "More info" then "Run anyway".
Search for "ChordyMatch" in the Start Menu and open it. Done!
The ZIP contains: installer (.bat), certificate (.cer), and app (.msix).
💡 Administrator permissions are required to run the installer. If you're on a work computer, contact your IT admin.
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A window with the ChordyMatch icon appears.
Drag the ChordyMatch icon to the Applications folder. Replace if you have an older version.
Since ChordyMatch is not signed by Apple, macOS blocks it the first time. Right-click (or Ctrl+click) on ChordyMatch in Applications and select "Open". In the dialog, click "Open" again.
You only need to do this once. Future updates won't require this step.
If you prefer using the Terminal, run this command after copying the app to Applications:
xattr -cr /Applications/ChordyMatch.appQuick answers to the most common issues.
